What started out as a hand-drawing, I then designed into this cut-out style ornament to bring out the beauty of the Mt. Shuksan, while also showcasing the lovely rustic subtlety of wood. With clean lines and selective cutouts, this ornament makes a great gift or decoration for the holidays. The neutral wood tones make it a great compliment to virtually any home decor.
Crafted from remarkably lightweight and sturdy 3mm birch wood, and beautifully laser cut, I hand-paint each piece on both sides to add that rough and rustic charm. Because of the hand-painted nature of this ornament, the color blend and strokes on the wood may vary slightly – but that’s part of the rustic and handmade appeal. 🙂
Lighting and monitor settings differ so actual color may vary slightly, but it’s a warm chestnut/cognac brown.
Made in Mt. Shasta, California.
