What started out as a hand-drawing, I then designed into this cut-out style ornament to bring out the beauty of Burney Falls State Park, while also showcasing the lovely rustic subtlety of wood. With clean lines and selective cutouts, this ornament makes a great gift or decoration for the holidays.
Crafted from remarkably lightweight and sturdy 3mm birch wood, and beautifully laser cut, I hand-stain and paint each piece on both sides to add that rough and rustic charm. Because of the hand-painted nature of this ornament, the color blend and strokes on the wood may vary slightly – but that’s part of the rustic and handmade appeal. 🙂
