Cailin B. Henson
I’m Cailin B. Henson, an illustrator and giftware designer from Mt. Shasta, a small mountain town in Northern California. At 14.179 ft. high, I’m fortunate to live at the base of an incredible Cascade Range fourteener.
I’ve always loved outdoor beauty, especially the local lakes and hiking vistas near my home. As someone who grew up beneath a very specific and unique mountain, I feel a particular passion and duty to reflect through art the outdoor places I love in a way that captures their genuine features – the ridges, curves, shapes and details that are so recognizable and make them characteristically distinctive.
This passion for authentic representation of my own hometown mountain in the form of beautiful, functional, and usable gifts birthed my online art shop business Alpenglow Manor LLC. I’ve since enjoyed expanding to other mountain ranges and wilderness attractions cherished by alpine lovers across the country.
